Simon Rusconi has been recognized as one of the hospitality industry’s global leaders in the luxury and lifestyle market with more than 25 years of experience. Rusconi excels at creating strong and lasting identities for world renowned iconic brands that have included St. Regis, Mandarin Oriental, Luxury Collection & Mondrian.

With his legacy of award winning accomplishment, Simon Rusconi launched Spey Group, a boutique Hospitality advisory firm.  Spey Group specializes in creating long-term success for new and existing ventures as a strategic partner for owners and real estate developers.

Prior to launching Spey Group, Rusconi served as Vice President of Operations for Morgans Hotel Group, where he successfully oversaw the pre-opening of the new Mondrian Doha, a new benchmark of lifestyle boutique hotel for the company.

Earlier, Rusconi served as General Manager of two iconic Luxury properties, The St. Regis Atlanta and Prince de Galles, Paris. Rusconi was instrumental in opening and re-branding those two properties; both won international awards including a Michelin-rated restaurant.

Rusconi has worked for such global brands as Hilton, Mandarin Oriental, St. Regis, Luxury Collection, and Morgans. He was involved in more than ten hotel openings around the world including Hawaii, Tahiti, San Francisco, Atlanta, Paris, and Doha.

Rusconi is a native of Switzerland and graduated from the Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland.
